Football is a game best viewed with an open mind. In order to truly gain insight into the inner workings of the sport, one need only emotionally attach him/herself to their own interests and not those of paid pundits who attempt to influence all of us with their statistics and mind-numbing prose concerning their own predictions.

The NFL has been conducting research on retired players to test the affects of concussions on the long-term health of their players. In light of more and more research being done on the effects of concussions, the nation as a whole has a higher awareness of concussions.
