During his Olympic debut in 2021, Donฤiฤ‡ had a remarkable performance, scoring 48 points in a 118โ€“100 victory over Argentina. His 48-point feat tied for the second-highest men’s point total in a single game in Summer Olympics history and stood as the highest in a men’s basketball debut. Despite Slovenia’s loss in the bronze medal match against Australia, Donฤiฤ‡’s outstanding play earned him a spot on the FIBA All-Star Five team, recognizing him as one of the tournament’s top performers alongside Patty Mills, Ricky Rubio, Kevin Durant, and Rudy Gobert.
