The men’s long jump has been a staple in the Olympic athletics program since the start of the Summer Olympics in 1896. At the Stockholm 1912 Olympics, thirty long jumpers from thirteen nations competed, with Albert Gutterson ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ from the United States winning with a distance of 7.60 meters.
