The men’s long jump has been a staple in the Olympic athletics program since the start of the Summer Olympics in 1896. At the Stockholm 1912 Olympics, thirty long jumpers from thirteen nations competed, with Albert Gutterson ๐บ๐ธ from the United States winning with a distance of 7.60 meters. At the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Miltiadis Tentoglou ๐ฌ๐ท from the Greek team secured the gold medal in the men’s long jump with a distance of 8.41 meters. ๐ฅ
